BUILDERS SELECTED FOR 2008 HOMEARAMA

Thirteen local custom homebuilders will showcase single family homes in the 27th annual Homearama Oct. 4-19, 2008 at Wilshire Village of Ashville Park.

The group includes a mix of veteran Homearama builders and first-time participants. Previous Homearama builders are: Area Builders of Tidewater Inc., Cohen Homes L.L.C., Crestline Homes L.L.C., Joey Corp., J.F. Schoch Building Corp., L.R. Hill Custom Builders Inc., Miller Custom Homes, TCI Inc., WATAB Construction Corp. and The Walters Company Inc. Builders new to Homearama are Back Bay General Contracting, C.E. Bryan Custom Builders and Nelin Brothers.

The development is in a lakefront section of the Virginia Beach luxury-home community of Wilshire Village of Ashville Park located off Princess Anne in the southern part of Virginia Beach. The upscale site includes many hardscape features integrated into the extensive landscaping and pocket parks throughout.

It will be the eighth time Homearama has been hosted by the city of Virginia Beach and it will be the 27th time it has been presented by Tidewater Builders Association. The event features fully-furnished and landscaped custom homes that are open to the public.

Along with a number of feature homes, the 2008 Homearama will showcase housing-related products and services in an exhibit area. A variety of workshops and entertainment are also planned.

A limited amount of lots are still available for Homearama builders. Any interested builders should contact Randy Nieter of TBA at 420-2434, ext. 255, or rnieter@tbaonline.org.
